Hunters Asked To Help With CWD Sampling

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) monitoring across Oregon is ramping up, with new check stations in place this week.

CWD, a fatal disease to deer, elk, and moose, has already been detected in the neighboring states of Idaho, Washington, and California.

More than 40,000 big game animals have been sampled over the past 20-plus years in Oregon, and CWD has not been found.
