Plans for Oregon’s first wildlife overcrossing are moving forward, with more than $33 million in federal funding secured for a structure that will allow animals to safely cross Interstate 5 near the Oregon-California border.
The Southern Oregon wildlife crossing will be constructed in the Cascade-Siskiyou National Monument along I-5 south of Ashland.
