The Hanby Huskies’ eighth-grade football team traveled to Klamath Falls for a closely matched game against Ponderosa. Two touchdown runs around the end gave Ponderosa the edge. Hanby’s defense delivered some hard hits, including those of No. 66 Dale Skitdgel. The Ponderosa coach told Hanby’s Coach Perdue that his toughest lineman hoped he would not face a harder hitter.
