Forest officials have increased the fire danger rating to “Moderate” across the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forest as warmer and drier conditions continue to develop across Southern Oregon.
The change took effect immediately and is accompanied by an increase in the Industrial Fire Precaution Level (IFPL) to Level 1. Forest officials noted that IFPL restrictions apply only to industrial and commercial operations and do not currently affect general recreational use.
