FD No. 1 Chooses Company For Solar Project

True South Solar of Ashland was the choice of the Jackson County Fire District 1 Board of Directors out of four bidding companies to install the 180 solar panels on 13 poles mounted up the hill from the fire station, coming in as the second-lowest bid but with the most experience at installing solar photovoltaic systems at the District 1 Board of Directors’ Wed., July 8 meeting.
