A U.S. Coast Guard helicopter crew rescued a 68-year-old rafter with a leg injury Thursday, Oct. 1, from a remote section of the Rogue River where ground responders could not reach the group by road.
The MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station North Bend responded to a location approximately 53 miles southeast of North Bend, according to a Coast Guard news release.
