Oregonians can now borrow more than books from many public libraries. Thanks to a partnership between the Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) and the State Library of Oregon, library patrons can also check out free parking permits for Oregon State Parks.
The statewide program has expanded to include 82 public libraries, where approximately 200 state park parking permits are now available for checkout.
