Zane Wardle scored a pair of touchdowns and ran for 120 yards, as the Rogue River Jr. Sr. High Junior High-level football team won at Talent 26-12 in its first game of the season on Wed., Sept. 9.
Dane Alvarez Jr. is the Junior Chieftains coach this fall, with Derek Nelson, the team’s coach in 2025, moving back to the high school team. Jerome Makrova is Alvarez’s assistant coach.
