Cheryl Tuller, founder and longtime executive director of WildCat Ridge Sanctuary in Scotts Mills, Oregon, died Aug. 13 at the age of 71 following a battle with pulmonary fibrosis.
Tuller leaves behind a sanctuary that grew from a small six-acre property with a handful of rescued animals into an 80-acre refuge that has provided lifetime care for hundreds of captive-born wildcats.
