ODHS Urges Recipients To Report Changes That Could Affect Requirements

Many Oregonians who are required to meet work or activity requirements to receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits may qualify for an exemption, according to the Oregon Department of Human Services.

ODHS reports that 93% of Oregonians currently subject to SNAP work or activity rules qualify for an exemption. The agency is encouraging recipients to contact staff before assuming they must meet the requirements.
