The Board of Directors for Jackson County Fire District No. 1 voted 4-1 to raise the salary of its finance manager by seven percent, plus a certain Consumer Price Index (CPI) figure at 36 months, and for the administrative assistant, also at seven percent, plus CPI, at 24 months.
