It looks like Kotek vs. Drazan, Part II, for Oregon’s governorship this November.
While Gov. Tina Kotek easily vanquished nine other Democratic candidates, Christine Drazan, who lost to Kotek in the 2022 election, won out in the 14-person Republican race, garnering less than 50 percent of Republicans’ votes. Still, she was well ahead of state representative Ed Diehl, who ran proclaiming a “No Tax” platform in his campaign literature.
