Small businesses and qualifying private nonprofit organizations in Jackson and Josephine counties may qualify for federal drought disaster loans of up to $2 million. The application deadline is March 1, 2027.
The Oregon Department of Emergency Management issued an Oct. 7 reminder that U.S. Small Business Administration assistance remains available for organizations affected by ongoing drought. Both counties are included in eligible areas for drought beginning March 24 and April 1.
