Oregon has received conditional federal approval to launch Explore Health, a new state-run health insurance marketplace for residents who do not receive coverage through an employer or programs such as the Oregon Health Plan, Medicare or Veterans Affairs.
Beginning Nov. 1, 2026, Oregonians will be able to use Explore Health to compare health insurance plans, determine whether they qualify for financial assistance and enroll in coverage.
