A 77-year-old Oregon prison inmate serving a 20-year sentence for sexually abusing two children died Aug. 19 while receiving hospice care at Snake River Correctional Institution in Ontario.
Michael Lee Hochgreve died in the prison infirmary, according to the Oregon Department of Corrections. As is standard with deaths involving adults in state custody, Oregon State Police was notified, and the State Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
