Death Of 2-Year-Old Child Under Investigation

The death of a 2-year-old child who was reported missing and later found deceased in rural Central Point remains under investigation by the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and a multi-agency investigative team.

Emergency Communications of Southern Oregon received a report of a missing child at approximately 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the 9900 block of Blackwell Road.
