Families in Jackson County have one final opportunity to register children for free backpacks and school supplies before distribution begins next week.
The Salvation Army Jackson County is accepting registrations through Friday, Aug. 7, for its annual Back-to-School Assistance Program. Families with school-aged children must register in advance by calling 541-773-6965.
