OHA Reports Two Oregon Cases Linked To National Cyclospora Outbreak

The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is reporting two Oregon residents who developed Cyclospora infections that may be connected to an ongoing multistate outbreak linked to recalled pre-shredded iceberg lettuce.

According to OHA, both individuals recently traveled to states involved in the outbreak before becoming ill. Health officials emphasize that the overall risk to Oregonians remains low because the recalled products were not reported to have been distributed in Oregon.
