An Umatilla man has permanently lost his Oregon hunting privileges after admitting to a series of wildlife and firearms crimes stemming from what state investigators describe as one of Oregon’s most significant serial poaching cases.
Christopher George Matson, 48, of Umatilla, was sentenced in two circuit court cases last month after an investigation by the Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Division uncovered years of illegal hunting activity across several Oregon counties.
