Songs of Hope Watch Party Coming to Jackson County Expo

Families and community members are invited to gather at the Jackson County Expo Amphitheater for a free Songs of Hope Watch Party celebrating the 100th anniversary performance of The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square at the Hollywood Bowl.

The event will take place on Friday, June 26th beginning at 6 p.m., with games and activities available for children before the concert broadcast starts at 7 p.m. The televised performance will continue until 9 p.m.

Viewers will enjoy a special anniversary concert featuring The Tabernacle Choir along with guest performers Katharine McPhee, David Foster, Stephanie J. Block, Sebastian Arcelus and Donny Osmond. The program will showcase a variety of musical styles, including sacred selections, folk music, Broadway favorites and popular songs.

The family-friendly evening will also feature free snacks, while food vendors Boston Mike’s Big Dawgs and Toasted Cheese will have meals available for purchase. Attendees are encouraged to participate in an optional diaper drive benefiting Magdalene Home and the Family Nurturing Center.

Stadium-style seating will be available inside the amphitheater, and guests may also bring lawn chairs or blankets to enjoy the event from the surrounding grass seating areas.
