Chieftains Team Limping Toward The Finish

Coming off its best effort of the season in a one-run loss to 4A Hidden Valley, the week before, those around the Rogue River Jr. Sr. High baseball team could have been excused for belief that their team had a shot not only to win its first Class 3A Southern Oregon League game but maybe win a series against a North Valley team that was also looking for its first league win.
