RR MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL PRACTICE ENDS IN INJURY

Rogue River Middle
School (RRMS) basketball
practice ended in a traumatic
injury Monday night bringing
things to a screeching
halt as one of the players
made an aggressive out of
bounds dive to try and save
the ball.
Unfortunately for RRMS
7th grader Tim Knight, at the
risk of personal injury.
"The ball went past me
and Tim went to dive for it
and slid into the gym wall,
slamming his back against
the pole," said RRMS 8th
grader DeAndre Harris. "I
think he hit his spine on the
thermostat pole."
Shortly after slamming
against the wall Knight,
barely able to speak, admitted
he had no feeling in his
legs.
"As the ball was going
out of bounds, Tim dove to
get the rebound and
slammed really hard against
the wall," said 8th grader
