Patricia Cruz
Rogue River Press

Rogue River Elementary
School (RRES) hallways
and outdoor areas
were filled with costumeclad
grade schoolers having
a great time. From the 2nd
Annual Pumpkin Decorating
Contest, classroom parties,
time out to Trick-or-Treat on
Main Street and back for
Movie Night at RRES the
day was filled with hours of
fun and entertainment for
the students and their entire
family.
"This is such a fun time
for kids," said Principal Tom
McCormick. "We work hard
to bring a safe and fun day
for our students and their
families."
The 2nd Annual
Pumpkin Decorating Contest
garnered nearly 30
entries. Categories included
Character, Most Creative,
Over the Patch (adult),
Largest, Smallest,
Happiest, Prettiest and, last
but not least, Scariest which
included nearly half the
entries.
"Thanks to the success
of last year's pumpkin contest
we decided to continue
the tradition," said Mc-
Cormick. "The kids really
put a lot of effort into this
year's pumpkin decorating
contest."
And the winners are:
