Gold Hill Sees String of Car Break-ins
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a string of car break-ins, in the Gold Hill area. The suspect or suspects traveled through Gold Hill, overnight Feb. 15 and early morning Feb. 16, and stole numerous items from unlocked vehicles in Gold Hill.
Items taken include money, coins, purses, jewelry, tools, CDs and other miscellaneous items.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is reminding people to please lock car doors, as well as any residential doors, garage doors, etc. It is better to protect yourself now, and not become a victim later. It is also advised to not leave valuables in plain sight, or in a vehicle, especially if they are left unlocked.
